We came here for my friends 70th birthday party. The staff here was super friendly. We had about 20 of us at two tables. Everyone was super happy with our drinks, meals and service. We stayed a little longer to eat cake and open a few presents. Saltgrass was perfect.
Food was absolutely delicious—first time at Saltgrass and I was really impressed! The only downside was the service felt a bit rushed when I was finally noticed. I wasn’t even offered dessert before the check was dropped, which was disappointing. Hoping it was just an off day!”
Came in with with a friend of ours for a late lunch. Trevor was our waiter and did an excellent job. Everything came out quick and fresh and was cooked on point! They even separated me and my wife’s meal, as we usually share, great job there! Overall, great service and food, definitely recommend eating here!
This restaurant is really good. The atmosphere and the staff are absolutely amazing. I ordered a 12 oz ribeye and asked for it medium rare. It came out a little more on the rare side and once I complained about it they put it back on the stove and cooked it a little longer. It was better but not great unfortunately. They did give me more mashed potatoes though so that was nice. Still a great restaurant though just a bad experience with the steak.
We were in town and visited this location early one evening. Relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff. Everyone ordered steak entrees and we were all very pleased. Cooked exactly as ordered and sides were plentiful. We did not order dessert because we had no room left. Service was very good, we were not rushed eating and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Will definitely visit again when in town.
My group of three sat at the bar and service was fast and efficient. The food was very good. My friend loved her steak. The grilled shrimp were cooked just right. The manager became a bit prickly when he started counting the number of alcoholic beverages ordered, even though our stay was over a 2-1/2 hour period and we spent $200+ on food and drink. Besides the manager run-in, all was well.
Great food, even better service. Food was greatly seasoned, cocktails were great. Each plate came with a soup/salad and a side. We got appetizers but by the time the entrees got to us we were already full. My wife asked to cook her meat more and they not only cooked it more but gave her a new plate
Great place to have dinner!! Service was great! Sad thing is this location doesn’t have the iconic strawberry frozen margarita they have in San Antonio 281 location! Plus the frozen machine didn’t work, so I wasn’t able to get another flavor!! Despite of, I love the restaurant!!!
Back in the day, this place was the Bomb!! I have about 15 of their 20oz plastic mugs. Kids loved it. Sad that it closed.
I miss this place a lot. Is there anywhere else like this place open now in the Austin or DFW area?
